What happens
Clark Kent and Herbert Calkins, a British Scotland Yard detective, search for a missing intelligence man, Philippe, and a young orphan, Bucky Taylor. Believing a mysterious figure known as the Man Without a Face is behind their disappearances, the pair follow a lead to a house near the harbor in France. They meet a man named Benoit and his companion Francois, who may be connected to the plot. Violence breaks out, and Kent and Calkins must act quickly as their suspicions about the house deepen. The story is part of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial first broadcast on March 25, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
