What happens

Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen wait at Comanche Joe's ranch while Tumbleweed Jones and Comanche Joe recover from a cave-in. Jimmy learns by telephone that his friends are alive and that Indians credit a mysterious figure called the Eagle in the shape of a man with saving them. Jimmy believes the rescuer was Superman, and Clark Kent, who waits to go, plays down the idea. Dr. Parker declines payment for his care of Jimmy and speaks of strange events in his operating room. The men prepare to leave the ranch, and Jimmy is disappointed that Tumbleweed does not come to say goodbye.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
