What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen are visiting the ranch of Comanche Joe, a wealthy Indian oilman in the far west, to gather material for a story on mysterious howling coyotes. Jimmy has been badly hurt after being thrown from a horse, and the doctor is twenty miles away over the mountain in a blizzard. Tumbleweed Jones sets out with the injured boy through the snowstorm, hoping to reach the doctor. Kent, having learned of the danger, resolves to act, and Superman takes to the air to search the frozen mountains for the two of them. This episode is the fifth part of the 1940 radio serial The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on December 23, 1940, and the lead actors are not named in the transcript.
