What happens
Superman, disguised as Clark Kent, visits the ranch of Comanche Joe with Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen. Ronson, a ranch hand, is responsible for a series of strange accidents on the ranch and oil fields. After Ronson seriously injures Jimmy Olsen, the boy's friend Tumbleweed Jones struggles to carry him through a blizzard toward a doctor twenty miles away, only to find they have been walking in circles. Superman finds them in the snow and carries both to Dr. Parker's office, where the doctor prepares to operate on Jimmy's skull while Tumbleweed insists he be treated. The episode ends with Jimmy's condition still critical.
