What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen are visiting the ranch of Ancie Joe, an editor's friend in the far west, to gather material for a story about the howling of a mysterious coyote that Indian legend says signals impending doom. At a Comanche tribal ceremony, Jimmy is initiated and must dance on a great war drum, while Tumbleweed Jones and Chief Running Fox look on. Something startles the gathering, and a figure is seen in the night near the drum. Afterward, Ronson, the ranch foreman, plots with Dusty to make the Indians believe the legend is true, so that Ancie Joe will sell his ranch cheaply. The episode is the third part of the series and is presented as a transcription feature.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
