What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen, reporters at the Daily Planet, are sent west by editor Perry White to look into strange events at the oil fields of Comanche Joe, an old friend of White's. Joe believes an old Comanche legend, in which a coyote's howl warns of coming death, is being borne out by a series of accidents. Clark and Jimmy travel to his ranch, where Joe takes them riding along a narrow mountain road. A coyote howls again, and the group finds itself in danger as rocks come down toward them. This Superman adventure, a radio transcription from December 1940, is part one of the story.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
