What happens
Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet, travels with Clark Kent and Lois Lane toward a hunting lodge in the Hudson Bay country after receiving a plea for help from his friend Sebastian Beauvay. Their taxi driver turns out to be a henchman of a strange figure known as the Laffer, and a time bomb is left on the seat. Clark Kent notices a black box under the driver's overcoat, ticking, and must act quickly without revealing that he is Superman. The episode also includes a fairy-tale exchange between the Laffer and his henchman Bortz Maguire, and closes with Perry White reacting with alarm to news about the Ottawa-bound plane. This is the sixth part of the 1942 installment of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on November 2, 1942.
A taxi on the way to the airport, a plane bound for Ottawa, and the Laffer's lavish apartment in the city.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
