What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen visit the Metropolis Hospital, where young news boy Danny O'Neill lies badly injured after being beaten in his tenement hallway. Danny had earlier told the Daily Planet staff that he saw a boy named Muggs break the window of Hoffman's drugstore before the fire that destroyed much of Morton Street. Clark learns from Father Sheehan that six neighborhood leaders had planned a community clubhouse for children of all races and creeds, and that they had received threatening letters. Clark concludes that someone is directing Muggs and his gang, and he begins to outline a plan with Jimmy to uncover who is behind the attacks. The Adventures of Superman is a radio series broadcast on the Mutual network.
