What happens
Superman, the visitor from Krypton who lives as mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent, pursues a group of foreign agents who have stolen an American submarine. Dr. Deutsch, the gang's leader, holds Captain Denning at gunpoint and fires a torpedo at a passing ship, which Superman intercepts in the water. Clark Kent boards the submarine, where he finds Captain Denning and begins to free the captive crew. Lois Lane and Perry White are being held on board. The Adventures of Superman is the series, and this installment is part five of the Grayson Submarine story, first broadcast on May 21, 1941.
