What happens
Designer Charles Grayson and Captain Denning test a new submarine at 350 feet, where the vessel suddenly stops moving and seems held fast by something beneath the sea. At the naval base, reporter Clark Kent learns from Commander Lee that contact with the stranded crew is weak and that the submarine cannot surface. Kent asks for a rescue boat, and Commander Lee agrees to send the fast submarine S-23 to search for the trapped vessel. Aboard S-23, the crew also finds itself stopped and hearing scraping on the hull, as Denning reported earlier. The episode ends with Kent slipping away to the stern of the trapped submarine, where he plans to investigate the escape hatch.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
