What happens
Superman races to save the planet Apollo, which is being pulled toward the blazing sun and breaking apart in fires and quakes. He drives deep into the planet's core and fires blasts of energy that push Apollo back into a safe orbit. Meanwhile, the tyrannical Raz of Apollo blames the scientists Pain and Lalo and their people for the disaster, and orders them seized and put to death. Superman then flies to the deserted village where Lalo was staying, learning from a villager that soldiers have taken Pain and Lalo to the palace. The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial, and this episode first aired on November 21, 1946.
