What happens
Superman rescues the planet Apollo from destruction, then returns to the village where he left Thane and Lalo, only to learn that they have been seized by soldiers of the tyrant Raz. In the council chamber, Raz condemns the pair to be turned to stone with a drink. Superman fights his way through a hundred giant guards and urges the people of Apollo to hold a fair trial and establish a free government. Before leaving, he worries that his secret identity may already be exposed. The Adventures of Superman aired on 1946-11-22.
