What happens
Superman, weakened by the strange atmosphere of the planet Apollo, is rescued from a dark cell by the scientist Thane and his daughter Lalo, aided by a loyal giant named Oort. Together they race through winding underground passages beneath the temple of the Rosa, hoping to reach the princess and revive Superman before he dies. Their escape is complicated by pursuing guards and the danger of the sacred oil spring, where giant slave soldiers keep watch. The installment is part of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on November 14, 1946.
