What happens
On the planet Apollo, Superman has been stripped of his strength by the atmosphere and condemned to death by the Ros ruler, along with the elderly scientist Thane. On Earth, editor Perry White and Jimmy Olsen wait at Mount Arthur with Dr. John Millis, fearing that Clark Kent and Superman are lost, and learn that Apollo is leaving its orbit. Back on Apollo, Thane despairs over Superman's motionless body until his daughter Lalo arrives through a hole in the cell floor, accompanied by a giant slave named Oort. Together they plan to carry Superman through a secret passage toward the princess's quarters, where the sacred oil might restore his strength. This episode is part of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial first broadcast on November 13, 1946.
