What happens
Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne search for Eric Larson, a convict believed to be hiding Dick Grayson. A circus clown named Freddy Ellis explains that a stranger named Marshall paid him to smuggle a message to Larson, and that Larson's supposed death was staged. Following the phone records, Kent and Wayne head for an address on Greenvale Avenue. The episode ends with the two heroes arriving at a shaded house where they find a dead man on the floor, but no sign of the boy.
