What happens
Superman and Batman, with Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne in their everyday roles, track down a circus clown named Freddie Ellis to learn where the convicted criminal Eric Larson might be hiding. Larson, who once sent Dick Grayson's testimony to prison, has escaped and abducted the boy Robin. At the circus and then in California, the heroes question Ellis, who grows nervous and begins to speak about a man he is afraid of. Meanwhile in Metropolis, Robin is trapped in a dusty attic bungalow with no window or stairs, facing a man named Marsh who has already fired a gun. This is part seven of the Superman radio series, first broadcast in October 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
