What happens
Batman, secretly Bruce Wayne, and Superman, secretly Clark Kent, search for Eric Larson, a convict who has vanished from prison and threatens young Robin, Dick Grayson. Larson is believed to be using a drug to fake his death, and the trail leads toward a circus. Meanwhile Bruce Wayne risks his life in fast river current to save a boy trapped on rocks above a waterfall, with Inspector Henderson and Sergeant Healy looking on. This part of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on October 1, 1946, ends with the pair still in danger at the brink of the falls.
