What happens
Batman and Superman investigate threatening letters and calls aimed at Robin, Dick Grayson, who has been warned that Eric Larson, a criminal he helped imprison, is coming for him. Larson was reported dead, but Superman suspects he is alive. Batman's butler Alfred reports that Robin and Jim Olsen were taken away by men in a car. Superman and Batman search the rainy streets for the boys' trail. Meanwhile Dick wakes tied up in a bungalow, where he finds a heavy-set captor, and then sees Larson himself. This is the Adventures of Superman radio series, first broadcast on September 30, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
