What happens
Superman and Batman pursue the case of Dick Grayson, who has been kidnapped by Eric Larson, an escaped convict bent on revenge against Batman's young companion. After Jimmy Olsen is rescued from the rapids at Horseshoe Falls, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne follow a lead to a circus in Buffalo, seeking a performer who may have helped Larson escape from prison. There they learn the clown Wilfred Ellis has quit the circus and vanished, leaving them without a clear trail. Meanwhile Larson holds Dick captive at his bungalow hideout outside the city, where a visitor named Mr. Marsh is expected. This is part five of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial, with its original air date of October 2, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
