What happens
Superman battles Henry Miller, now transformed into the Atom Man, a scientist who wants to destroy him. Using Jimmy Olsen as bait, Miller lures Superman to a lonely beach house, where Superman is struck by bursts of atomic energy and left weakened on the sand. The fight tears up the beach and nearby forest, and trees topple across the area. Jimmy Olsen, meanwhile, escapes from a collapsing shack and runs through the woods toward the beach. This episode of The Adventures of Superman aired on November 1, 1945, and continues the story of Superman's fight with the Atom Man.
