What happens
Clark Kent and Henry Miller work together at the Daily Planet in Metropolis. Miller, a young American educated in Germany, has been transformed by the scientist Toyful into a powerful atom man, and he is testing whether Kent is really Superman. When Kent suddenly grows pale and weak in Miller's presence, Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane rush to help him and then take him to a doctor. Afterward, Miller invites Jimmy along on what he calls a big story. The episode is part fifteen of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on October 30, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
