What happens
Henry Miller, a reporter at the Metropolis Daily Planet who has been infused with radioactive kryptonite, plots with the scientist Toyfel to find and capture Superman. Toyfel suggests using Clark Kent, the Planet reporter who has contact with Superman. Miller reports that he noticed Kent turn pale and collapse when he came near him, and they begin to suspect Kent may be Superman. Toyfel prepares a lead-lined vest to test the theory. Meanwhile Kent learns from Perry White that Toyfel is reportedly dead, and he is glad. Presented as part of The Adventures of Superman, originally aired on October 29, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
