What happens
Superman, who has lost his memory and believes he is baseball star Bud Smith, is held by the crooked politician George Latimer. Batman and Robin follow a lead from a hoodlum called Punchy, who has been stabbed before he can reveal where Smith is being kept. Racing to an address on Adams Street, they and Inspector Henderson find the bungalow empty, with neither Smith nor Latimer inside. The series is The Adventures of Superman, broadcast in 1947.
