What happens
Batman and Robin search Dr. Marsh's bungalow in Metropolis for Bud Smith, the missing baseball star, while Inspector Henderson doubts their theory that Big George Latimer is behind the disappearances. Robin finds a diary and a German driving license that point to Dr. Marsh having a sinister past, and the pair decide to return to a farm where they believe Clark Kent may be held. Meanwhile, at the farm, a man who has lost his memory, believed to be Superman and called Bud Smith, is given milk laced with liquefied Kryptonite by Dr. Marsh while Latimer looks on. This part of the Adventures of Superman, broadcast on June 25, 1947, is an episode of the long-running Superman radio series, with its regular cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
