What happens
Superman, under the assumed name Bud Smith, has been abducted by Big George Latimer and held at Dr. Marsh's bungalow, where he lies in a drugged sleep beside a piece of kryptonite. Batman and Robin, along with private detective Candy Myers, search the city's underworld for any trace of Latimer's men. Two of Latimer's henchmen, Gus and Punchy, guard Smith while they argue over a card game. Punchy, worried that Smith's disappearance will cost the Titans their chance to win the pennant, wanders from tavern to tavern. The episode is part 28 of the 1947 Adventures of Superman serial and aired on June 20, 1947.
