What happens
Batman, Robin and private detective Candy Myers search for Bud Smith, a baseball player whom Candy believes is their friend Clark Kent. Smith disappeared after a night game in Metropolis when the lights went out, and Candy suspects politician George Latimer ordered the abduction. Batman and Robin follow the lead to Latimer's house, while Smith, who is weakened and restrained, lies helpless in a bungalow where Latimer and Dr. Marsh are preparing a dangerous drug. The episode is part 27 of The Adventures of Superman, which aired on June 19, 1947.
