What happens
Superman, who has lost his memory and now calls himself Bud Smith, arrives in Metropolis to join the Titans baseball team. Big George Latimer, his enemy, is nearby, carrying a piece of deadly Kryptonite. Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen meet the newcomer and begin to suspect he may be Clark Kent, while Smith's manager Shorty Taylor watches over him. The episode is part 23 of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series, first broadcast on June 13, 1947. The story is still building toward its climax as this part ends, with Lois and Jimmy driving Smith to the ballpark while Latimer makes a phone call.
