What happens
Superman is held captive by the crooked politician George Latimer, who has obtained a piece of Kryptonite that drains the hero's strength. Latimer brings in Dr. Marsh, a chemist who claims he can use liquefied Kryptonite to block part of Superman's brain. Marsh gives Superman milk laced with drops of the liquid, and Superman begins to lose his memory and recall even his own name. Meanwhile Batman, Robin and the private detective Candy Myers search for Latimer, and Batman learns that Clark Kent may also be in Latimer's hands. The episode is part fourteen of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series that aired on June 2, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
