What happens
Batman and Robin search for Superman after he fails to appear at their home following a struggle at the mansion of politician George Latimer. Latimer denies any wrongdoing when the detectives confront him, and the police inspector Henderson is reluctant to press the matter. Batman suspects that Latimer used the dangerous substance Kryptonite to capture Superman, who has lost his strength near it. Latimer's secretary Blake is at the mansion, and Latimer is preparing to leave with a plan. Batman and Robin race to follow him, hoping to find where Superman is held.
