What happens
Perry White, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are lured to a deserted pier by reporter Tony Sloane, who had located a missing judge, and are taken by boat by armed men. Believing they face a gang, they are forced aboard a ship in the harbor. The staff of the Daily Planet are then revealed to be the targets of an April Fool's prank arranged by Clark Kent and Superman, who intend to teach White a lesson about practical jokes. The episode closes with Kent's friend, private detective Candy Myers, left guarding twenty thousand dollars in Kent's apartment when two masked gunmen arrive and a shot is fired.
