What happens
Clark Kent and his friend Batman search for Candy Mires, a private detective who has vanished from Kent's apartment. Candy had been waiting there with $20,000 in cash, part of a prank started by Lois Lane, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. Evidence in the apartment suggests a gunshot and a struggle, and Kent's neighbor, Mr. Nielsen, reports seeing two men carry a limp man out of the building. The pair pursue the few clues they have, including a vague detail about one man's clothing and a suspicion about a taxi driver. This is part ten of The Adventures of Superman, and the broadcast is a 1946 episode of the radio series.
