What happens
Clark Kent and Captain Maddox are aboard the Juanita during a violent hurricane that threatens the ship near the dangerous Shark's Tooth rock. Below the surface, Professor Thorpe and diver Gleason are trapped inside their bathysphere, which is being dragged across the rough ocean floor. Meanwhile, the villainous Escobar and his assistant Carlos watch from shore, hoping the storm will wreck the ship so they can claim the sunken Spanish gold. The Juanita's crew struggles to hold position as the storm rages, and Kent slips away during the chaos. The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial from 1940, and this installment originally aired on September 6, 1940.
