What happens
Clark Kent and Professor Thorpe continue their struggle against Escobar and his gang of pirates over a sunken Spanish gold ship at the bottom of Octopus Bay. After Escobar's speedboat is wrecked, Kent and the professor begin diving for the treasure in Thorpe's bathysphere, a steel diving bell. Down on the sea floor, the professor and the diver Gleason prepare to search for the gold, but the air supply begins to fail. The story has been transcribed as part of the Adventures of Superman series, first aired on September 2, 1940.
