What happens

Clark Kent, acting as Superman, travels to the jungles of Central America to find an antidote for a potion that has numbed the minds of the Metropolis Football Team. The antidote is said to be a brown crystal known only to the Nawan Indian tribe. Kent seeks out Pangopee, a retired local character, at his shack after dark, and asks him to lead him to the tribe. Pangopee is reluctant at first, claiming the tribe has moved on, and the two haggle over payment. Kent offers five hundred dollars and pays a deposit. John Carter, manager of the plantation, objects to the price. Drums sound through the night as the episode closes with Pangopee weighing his options.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
