What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane investigate after the Metropolis University football team falls into a stupor during a game, and the dean, Professor Nelson, fears the team is being sabotaged. The team's success is tied to a three million dollar legacy for the medical school. Kent and Lois learn that a sanatorium doctor who died in a car crash had been dosing the players with a strange powder, and his former assistant, Martha Hawkins, is questioned by Police Commissioner Reynolds. Kent is anxious to learn where the antidote can be found, since the game is only days away. The Adventures of Superman is the radio series, and this episode aired on September 19, 1941.
