What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen are trapped when Kent's car plunges off Metropolis Bridge into the river, and Superman rescues Jimmy from the wreck. Afterward, Jimmy receives a letter addressed to Kent containing a fragment of kryptonite, which weakens Superman whenever he comes near it. The letter is signed with the initial J and asks Superman to answer an advertisement in the Daily Planet. Jimmy destroys the fragment, and Superman prepares to contact the sender. This is part 20 of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series, originally broadcast on December 31, 1945.
