What happens
Mr. Jones, a sinister criminal leader, meets with the Laffer in a rented apartment above a Turkish rug shop in Metropolis on Christmas Day. Jones claims to hold a piece of Kryptonite, the element that weakens Superman, and tries to bargain over it, while the Laffer threatens him with the police. The two men discuss a plan to destroy Superman. Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen receives a letter for Clark Kent at the Daily Planet and carries it along on his way to meet Kent for Christmas dinner. This is part 19 of The Adventures of Superman, first aired December 28, 1945.
