What happens
Batman and Robin, disguised in tattered clothes, follow the informer Squeely Evers through the foggy Metropolis waterfront. Their pursuit leads them into an ambush set by hired thugs, whom they overpower and turn over to the police. At headquarters, Inspector Henderson reports that the men admit only to being paid to attack them. Clark Kent suggests the informer may have passed word of the pair's movements through someone else, and he and the heroes drive back to retrace Squeely's route. The series, from The Adventures of Superman, is part six of a search for missing pieces of Kryptonite, which Superman believes could be used to create a new Atomic Man.
