What happens
Batman and Robin, posing as George and Jack Robinson, seek information about a crescent and star coin from Squeely Evers, a shabby informer who sells tips to the criminal world. Squeely accepts their money but warns them to drop the coin and stop asking questions, hinting that three other men who pursued the same clue met violent ends. Suspecting he will sell their interest to others, the heroes follow him through the fog of the waterfront. Squeely visits a coffee shop, where he passes a message to a waiter. The episode is part five of the Superman serial The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on December 10, 1945.
