What happens
Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen investigate the mystery of the Whistler aboard the Clara M, an old clipper ship sailing south toward Panama through thick fog. After Jimmy vanishes into the sea, Clark hears a cry for help, dives into the water, and rescues Jimmy and an unknown stowaway, carrying them back to the ship. The crew, who had blamed superstition for the Whistler, gather on deck while the captain tends to the two boys. The stowaway reveals he has been hiding in a secret closet in Jimmy's cabin and was the figure the crew took for the Whistler. This is the fourteenth part of the 1941 radio serial The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on April 4, 1941.
