What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane are searching for Professor Alonso Sturgeon, an atom bomb scientist who has been abducted by agents of a foreign power. Their only clue is the word Zaluto, which no linguist they consult can identify. Horatio Horn, the amateur detective, helps them chase the word through library research and by consulting an etymologist in Metropolis. Clark then proposes that the Metropolis Daily Planet run a word contest that includes Zaluto among other words, in the hope that someone connected to the abductors will respond. The episode is part of The Adventures of Superman, originally broadcast on July 17, 1946.
