What happens

Lois Lane and Horatio F. Horn, the amateur detective, search for the meaning of a foreign word, Zaluto, overheard from the abductor Captain Carlos, hoping it will lead to the agents who took Professor Sturgeon. Their search takes them through foreign language dictionaries at the New Orleans Times and then to a university, where they consult a language expert, Dr. Jonas, about whether the word might be slang or dialect. Meanwhile, in the country of Bolomar, General Moron reports to the dictator Rex that the professor has refused to reveal the secret of the American atom bomb. Rex insists on questioning the drugged scientist himself, and the episode closes with the professor lying unconscious in a dungeon room under the eyes of Bolomar's leaders.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
