What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the home of Professor Sturgeon, an atomic scientist, after a telegram suggests he is in danger. They find signs of a violent struggle in his study. Horatio F. Horn, a local correspondent for the Daily Planet, has decoded the message and joins them. Professor Sturgeon's butler, Breckenridge, describes how visitors claiming to represent a scientific group were turned away, and how a fight broke out before the professor was overpowered and carried off. Clark sets out alone to follow a lead to Maple Lodge in the Blue Mountains, while Lois and Horn wait for the police. The adventure is part of The Adventures of Superman radio series, first aired July 3, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
