What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane, reporters for the Daily Planet, investigate a threat to New Birmingham, where heavy rains have loosened a mountain above the radium refinery. Kent believes Dr. Horace Morton, Lois's uncle and a weather expert, is being forced by a criminal gang to create the storm. As families are evacuated by bus, Kent and Lois search the observatory on the mountain for Morton and the gang's plans. The Adventures of Superman is a 1940 radio serial, and this episode first aired on June 21, 1940. Bud Collins and Dr. Martin are part of the group, and the story centers on the trucks of ore and the buses of children travelling through the threatened pass.
