What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the observatory of Dr. Horace Morton, whose weather forecasts have proven remarkably accurate, to interview him for the Daily Planet. Their visit turns sinister when they find Elmer Rogers, Morton's assistant, shot dead in his room during a hailstorm. Kent and Lois are left at the observatory while Morton is missing, and the question of who fired the shot begins to weigh on both of them. This is part three of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial, first broadcast on June 14, 1940. The lead actors are not named in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
