What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane arrive at a lonely observatory on Music Mountain to interview weather forecaster Dr. Horace Morton, Lois's uncle. Morton's assistant, Elmer Rogers, greets them nervously, and a phone call from a man named Collins suggests that the demonstrations Morton is preparing are being watched closely. During a demonstration of his forecasting, Morton predicts clear and cool weather, then fog and hail arrive just as he said. Kent and Lois grow suspicious of the strange equipment and of his methods. The episode is part two of the Superman series, first broadcast on June 12, 1940, and ends with Rogers shot dead inside the observatory while Morton is still missing.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
