What happens
Superman rescues Sam Robbins and Doc, a veterinarian, from a burning barn after a gang of bigots tries to lynch Sam, a returning veteran wrongly accused of shooting a fellow veteran. Superman turns the attackers over to state troopers, and Clark Kent, working at the Daily Planet, begins to suspect that Governor Wheeler and political boss George Latimer had a hand in sending Sam upstate. Kent suspects the frame-up reaches back to the shooting itself. Later, Kent receives a call summoning him to the governor's mansion, where Governor Wheeler tells him something startling. This is part 12 of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on September 18, 1946.
