What happens
Clark Kent visits the Robbins home to question Sam Robbins's mother after Joe Martin, a war hero, was shot during a veterans' protest against Governor Wheeler. The gun said to be the murder weapon was found in the Robbins house, and Sam has been arrested. Clark suspects a visitor who came while Mrs. Robbins was alone and asks her to describe him. Later, Superman steps in to stop a crowd of angry veterans from storming the state police barracks where Sam is held, urging them to respect the law instead. The episode ends with a new threat being prepared against Sam and the veterans.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
