What happens
Clark Kent and editor Perry White are back at the Daily Planet after escaping a burning building set by Duke Renard. Clark plans to join the transfer of prisoner Henry Benson by posing as a prison guard, believing Renard's men will ambush the car on the Conway turnpike. Meanwhile Renard and his henchmen Curly and Spud set up at a draw bridge, planning to open it and drop Benson's car into the river. The episode is part fourteen of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial, and this portion ends with the bridge plot set in motion and Benson's fate unresolved.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
