What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane pursue a blue roadster carrying Jack Robling and his wife Chicky after the couple took Dr. Robling's secret voice machine papers from him. Clark's car runs out of gas, so he slips away to call for fuel, and then changes into his Superman costume to stop the speeding car on the highway. Superman forces the roadster to stop, confronts Jack and Chicky, and then drives them back toward Metropolis with Clark Kent and Lois. Part 05 of The Adventures of Superman, first aired on August 6, 1941. The episode ends with a promise that the voice machine will be demonstrated the next day.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
